Welcome to All About Hearing
At All About Hearing, we believe in providing our patients with exceptional care, so they can reconnect with their loved ones and live a life full of better hearing. We are a family-owned practice and have been helping the people of Skagit Valley since 2003. We take the time to look at your individual hearing loss so we can help you find a hearing aid that will allow you to hear everything that matters to you. We are your home for hearing care.
Why Choose All About Hearing?
All About Hearing is the only independent hearing aid office in Burlington, WA. Because we are a family-owned, independent practice, we are able to work with multiple hearing aid manufacturers and choose which device will best help our patients.
- Our hearing instrument specialist, Diane Fox, has extensive experience helping patients with their hearing. She even wears a hearing aid herself! Diane understands the importance of managing hearing loss and how crucial communicating with your loved ones is.
- We will do whatever we can to help you find a pair of hearing aids that will allow you to hear better and improve your communication. We also work with a full range of insurance providers and will even look up your benefits for you.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment
When you come to All About Hearing for your first appointment you will immediately notice how comfortable and welcoming our office is. We are a professional clinic with a homey feel. Your first appointment will take approximately 1 ½ hours.
Here is what you can expect during your appointment.
- We will go over your intake form with you. We will have a conversation and find out what your expectations are, your family history, and ask you some questions about your lifestyle.
- While we converse our front office staff will look into your insurance benefits for you and let you know what kind of coverage you have.
- After our conversation, then we will look inside your ears with a video otoscope. This allows you to see the inside of your own ears.
- Then we will have you sit in our sound booth and we will test your hearing. In addition, we will do a speech test and test how well you can hear in noise.
- After the hearing tests we will explain the results of your audiogram and even let you try on a pair of demo hearing aids that we have in office. This way you can experience how they sound and feel in your ears.
- If you decide you want to move forward with hearing aids then we will place an order for them and schedule you to come back for a fitting appointment.
