Why Refer Patients to All About Hearing?
At All About Hearing, hearing care is personal. As a family-owned practice serving the Skagit Valley since 2003, we are committed to helping patients reconnect with the people and moments that matter most.
What truly sets us apart is our firsthand understanding of hearing loss. Owner Julie Spaulding has worn hearing aids herself for more than 20 years, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges, frustrations, and life-changing benefits that come with better hearing. She understands the patient experience not only as a hearing care professional, but also as someone who has lived it.
We take the time to understand each patient’s individual hearing needs and lifestyle before recommending solutions. Our goal is never just to fit hearing aids. It’s to help patients hear with confidence and improve their overall quality of life.
When you refer a patient to All About Hearing, you can trust they will receive:
- Compassionate care from a family-owned local practice

At All About Hearing, we’re more than a hearing clinic. We’re your patients’ long-term partner in better hearing.
When to Refer
- Patients should be referred for a hearing evaluation if they:
- Have difficulty hearing conversations in noisy environments
- Frequently ask others to repeat themselves
- Feel that people often mumble or do not speak clearly
- Notice that hearing is better in one ear than the other
- Experience tinnitus, such as ringing, buzzing, hissing, or other sounds in one or both ears
- Turn up the television or phone volume louder than others prefer
- Struggle to follow conversations in groups or social settings
- Feel isolated or frustrated because of hearing difficulties
Early identification and treatment of hearing loss can improve communication, relationships, overall well-being, and quality of life. If a patient reports any of these concerns, a comprehensive hearing evaluation is recommended.
